Temp-to-Hire position$24.00 to $28.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredThird Shift (Sunday through Saturday from 04:00pm to 04:00am)Oversee and inspect machine controls to ensure smooth plate changeovers and efficiently initiate machine startup as required for production.Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Monitor and assess mechanical devices during operation to identify potential issues or troubleshoot underlying problems.Address basic mechanical repairs and replace essential machine parts, such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches, as needed.Leverage broad expertise in electrical work to support various operational needs.Mantenance Mechanic Qualifications:
3-5 years of maintenance experience in a logistics environment.Proficient in reading and interpreting manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams.Experienced in utilizing tools such as meters, electrical testers, and hydraulic gauges.Adept at solving practical problems and navigating diverse situations where standard procedures may not apply, demonstrating excellent troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
