**Job Title:** Manual Lathe Operator **Department:** Production **Reports to:** Production Supervisor **Job Description** Operate and run a tool room lathe using roll forming concepts to manufacture parts with precision. Utilize handheld deburring tools and pi tapes to measure tolerances. Work under the Lead Seal Manufacturing Supervisor and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills with proper training. **Key Responsibilities** + Operate a manual lathe (not toolmaking) to manufacture parts. + Use calipers/verniers, pi tapes, micrometers, and drop indicators to ensure accuracy. + Interpret and follow blueprints to maintain quality standards. + Perform hand deburring and spot welding tasks (if applicable). + Accurately read travelers to log jobs in and out. + Manufacture parts with attention to detail and tight tolerances. + Produce accurate quantities without direct supervision. + Maintain a steady hand and focus on quality. + Be adaptable to changing priorities and willing to work overtime if needed. **Qualifications** + Knowledge of manual lathes is helpful but not required. + Familiarity with the aerospace industry is a plus but not mandatory. + Ability to read and understand blueprints is required. + Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tolerances. + Reliable transportation and good attendance are essential. + Positive attitude and a strong work ethic. + Ability to read and write English fluently. + U.S. citizenship is required (per aerospace policies). **Compensation** + **Pay Range:** $18–$22 per hour (DOE). **Work Schedule** + Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM + Friday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $22.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
