**Job Title: Manual Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with a strong attitude, aptitude, and ability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating manual Haus Mills and Lathes (Vertical), setting up machinery, operating it, and changing tooling as needed. The role involves working with various materials such as Brass, Aluminum, Copper, Stainless, and Tephlan in a job shop production environment where parts are constantly changing. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate manual Haus Mills and Lathes (Vertical). + Change tooling as required to ensure precision and efficiency. + Work with materials such as Brass, Aluminum, Copper, Stainless, and Tephlan. + Maintain tight tolerances of +/- 0.005 inches (5 thousandths). + Adapt to a job shop production environment where parts and projects frequently change. **Essential Skills** + At least 5 years of machining experience using all manual equipment. + Proficiency in holding tight tolerances of +/- 0.005 inches. + Experience working with general metals. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong problem-solving skills. + Attention to detail and precision in work. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic work environment that values your expertise and offers opportunities for continuous learning and growth.
