**Job Title: Manual Machinist**
**Job Description**
Perform maintenance for facilities and manufacturing equipment as assigned to maintain equipment efficiencies. Fabricate tools and fixtures for new models and maintain existing fixturing. Troubleshoot equipment by analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical equipment issues and failures as assigned. Complete and document all assignments as directed including preventative maintenance. Maintain stock for designated MRO items assigned for in-house procurement. Modify and/or repair items according to blueprints, layouts, or verbal instructions. Perform a variety of welding processes using commonly used metals and alloys of various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. Design and fabricate various items for workstations, material handling devices, and parts storage locations. Provide support for various functions such as quality issues, customer, and in-facility reworks. Must have the ability to read dimensional drawings and understand machining callouts.

**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency with measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tapes/rules, and other precision measurement tools used in shops and laboratories.
+ Experience with the basics of fluid power and pneumatics, including pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
+ Proficiency in basic design, fabricating, welding, and assembly of components, fixtures, and workstations.
+ Proficiency with manual milling machines and manual lathes.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints, mills, and lathes.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience working in a machine/fabrication shop.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; specialized certification preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in using various tooling and tool and die techniques.
+ Well-organized and self-motivated to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
+ Availability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends as scheduled.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
