What You'll Work On

As a Filling Operator for Line 3, you’ll have the chance to operate all production related equipment included in the Aseptic Filling and Blow Molding process. This position involves the ability to troubleshoot on-line situations.

Operates the filler, cappers, and blow molder in safe manner to maintain personnel safety and food safety and quality.Monitors pressure gauges, filler speeds and line conveyors.Completes product hookups between filling line and processing.Completes product blow downs/flushes as necessary to achieve timely batch changes with minimal fluid loss.Keeps accurate documentation of all production and quality reports.Interprets and responds to various alarm conditions on all filling and sterilizing equipment in a safe and timely manner.Operates the sterilizer system within required parameters, completes related documentation and monitors the specifications, making adjustments as needed. Completes sterilizer rounds, sediment and chlorine checks as required by work order.Adheres to product isolation procedures, monitoring pH levels and taking water samples.Reports any abnormal equipment functions and product problems to the Supervisor.Maintains general housekeeping cleaning, sanitation and safe work area by utilizing all 5S cleaning and tools necessary to keep the area clean and clear of debris, safe, neat and organized

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Pay and Shift

The hourly pay for this position is $24.95/hour USD plus a 5% shift differential. This is a night shift position (6:30pm - 7:00am EST) with a 12-hour rotational shift schedule.

This position will train on dayshift for approximately 6 months prior to transitioning to the night shift hours.

Schedule Example (after training is complete):

WEEK 1:

WORK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 6:30p - 7:00a.

DAYS OFF: Wednesday AND Thursday.

 

WEEK 2:

WORK: Wednesday & Thursday: 6:30p - 7:00p.

DAYS OFF: Monday, Tuesday AND Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GEDProven experience in operating filling equipmentBasic troubleshooting skillsWillingness to learn and retain information provide through training

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a liquid manufacturing or packaging facilityForklift certified

The base pay for this position is $18.65 – $37.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
