We are seeking undergraduate junior students majoring in Business, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
Alarm data collection and identification (bioreactors, incubators, shaker platforms, etc.)
Categorization of alarms (such as critical vs. non-critical, process alarms vs. equipment alarms)
Hands-on experience with alarm management systems in a GMP manufacturing department.
Optimize alarm systems contributing to operational efficiency and compliance.
Conducting gap analysis and criticality assessment.
Alarm communication strategy.
Position Requirements:
Undergraduate Junior students majoring in Business, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science or a related field.
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Technical documentation, attention to detail, data collection & analysis, team collaboration, problem-solving skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
Gowning into a GMP clean room environment will be required for this role.
Experience in Automation and/or Alarm Management is a plus.
Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0
