The Manufacturing Alignment team, which organized under Operation Central Team (OCT), focuses on establishing training, practices, alignment programs, and team/talent management to enable virtual clustered scale across the network. This includes using suppliers to achieve benchmark manufacturing performance, discovering and implementing equipment and process best known methods (BKM), optimizing equipment utilization, reducing cash costs and labor inefficiencies, and prioritizing and completing continuous improvement projects globally.
As a Central Team Alignment Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for driving improvements to manufacturing capability, delivering industry benchmark methods at the lowest cost, and managing the execution of global standards across process areas. You will implement this by focusing on Micron’s 4 pillars and ensure priorities are aligned to Micron business plan and/or Strategic Objective requirements across manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement alignment programs with Total Productivity Management (TPM) core teams and task force teams across the network to drive BKM alignment and network standardization, while implementing organizational change for both existing and new PM procedures to improve efficiency and performance in each of the Pillars.Lead global area and TPM core alignment teams to address chronic issues, drive improvements, and eliminate wastes. Manage alignment projects, define technical and implementation plans, create library of BKMs, and report progress to site leadership.Partner with customers and IT teams to develop and implement SEAL Standardized Systems, ensuring quality and efficiency through coaching, training, real-time assessments, audits, and gap closures. Define and complete area implementation plans, remove duplicate systems, and drive successful system adoption.Attend and provide updates at various meetings, maintain alignment with managers, cultivate positive relationships across functional areas, keep partners informed of project status and issues.Know the latest Fab manufacturing processes and business practices, hold self and others accountable for goals, set clear personal development objectives, use mentors, organize time effectively, continuously evaluate and improve, contribute to quality, and complete assignments accurately and timelyMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Related field of study5+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry In-depth knowledge of Process and Equipment perspective. Area content knowledge with experience of area methods, systems, tools.Good English skillsGlobal role, must be flexible to support evening meetings to drive global alignment objectives and intermittent travel.Preferred Qualifications
