The Manufacturing Associate in Fiber Web is responsible for safely performing job functions at the highest level of quality in the processing of filter elements. The associate is also responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record-keeping, following all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations. This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Metals department located in Deland, Florida and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Cross train and/or work on any Fiber/Web equipment as necessary including Leach to meet schedule. Work with hazardous chemicals. + Understand environmental regulations as they pertain to operating the Industrial Waste Treatment area. + Maintain accurate records, logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering. The essential requirements of the job include: + High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent; experience in like work centers. + Using measuring and test equipment; accuracy with both calipers and micrometers. + Strong mechanical aptitude and team attitude. Travel, Motor Vehicle & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Able to lift and carry over 50 lbs. + Able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods of time; able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body. + Able to read and write simple statements and analyze, memorize, conduct and comprehend simple mathematical tasks. It would be a plus if you have previous experience in: + Working with steel microfibers. + Working in a heavy manufacturing environment.
