**Job Title:** Manufacturing Associate
**Department:** Production
**Reports to:** Production Supervisor
**Job Purpose**
Operate, run, and produce plasma-welded components, as well as operate a tool room lathe using handheld deburring tools and pi tapes to measure tolerances. Work may also include operating form-rolling equipment. Perform tasks related to the preparation, production, and activities for manufactured materials, meeting production schedules in full compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and customer specifications. Produce quality production parts according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weld plasma components, certifying per various industry requirements.
+ Ensure tasks are completed in compliance with quality procedures and work instructions.
+ Complete batch documentation and supporting records accurately and on time; input data into the ERP system to ensure on-time delivery.
+ Maintain traceability of raw materials and work orders.
+ Liaise with Purchasing to manage materials for production and packaging, including inventory of raw materials and consumables.
+ Report non-compliance issues to the Quality Manager and assist in corrective actions.
+ Maintain current and compliant manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Ensure production areas and equipment comply with maintenance logs and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) policies.
+ Participate in activities to implement process improvements.
+ Comply with various industry and customer requirements.
+ Adhere to company SOPs, safety protocols, and lockout/tagout policies.
+ Participate in internal housekeeping inspections, quality, and client audits.
+ Ensure confidentiality of client information, adhering to ITAR requirements.
**Skills and Experience**
+ Knowledge of manual lathe, presses, and/or form-rolling equipment.
+ Bench welding skills are a plus.
+ Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to read work orders.
+ Aerospace industry experience is helpful but not required.
+ Familiarity with measurement tools (e.g., calipers/verniers, pi tapes, micrometers, drop indicators).
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints is beneficial.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus on details.
+ Steady hand and ability to work independently to machine parts.
+ Capacity to manufacture accurate quantities while maintaining high-quality standards.
+ Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Willingness to learn and contribute as a team player.
+ Flexibility to work 40 hours a week, with potential overtime.
+ Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
+ Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
+ U.S. citizenship required (per aerospace policies).
**Compensation**
+ **Pay Range:** $20–$24 per hour (DOE).
**Work Schedule**
+ Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
+ Friday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
