Manufacturing Associate
As a manufacturing associate, you will play a valuable role where you will be finalizing the product according to customer specifications before shipping the product to the client. In this role, you will use heat-treating furnaces to accurately heat treat both bar and coil products, schedule and assist with operations on the pickling line, and operate the shot blast machine. A successful manufacturing associate will be able to monitor and regulate controls, maintaining temperatures, concentrations and levels of solutions, and operate valves and/or control devices to maintain solutions. Additional Responsibilities: + Adhere to and participate in company safety programs to ensure a safe work environment + Use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and measuring tapes + Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes + Use heat-treating furnaces to accurately heat treat both bar and coil products. Use specific mill instructions to correctly regulate furnaces and adjust for non-conformances. + Schedules and assists with operation of pickling line to pickle, clean, coat, desensitize and/or de-copper material as required to meet specified requirements. + Operate the shot blast machine to clean a variety of materials following established procedures.
