Overview Working shift: Primarily Sunday-Thursday from 4pm-12am This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by certifying pallet inventory, operating within the warehouse management system and voicepick to meet loadout, and supporting checking trucks in a fast-paced warehouse operation. Responsibilities Manage the receiving and delivery of raw materials/finished products in a timely manner Utilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time Ensure the optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needs Provide timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel Motivate team members to achieve plan goals Maintain the inventory system to aid in production scheduling Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards and training Identify and execute productivity opportunities to help facility meet annual operating plan Administer policies and procedures Regular and predictable attendance at the work site This role requires regular presence on the plant floor This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally This role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow This role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally This role may require off-shift and weekend work Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery Provide coaching and counseling to Pickers on Pallet build practices. Provide feedback to Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) on workflow, loading issues and developmental opportunities of picker and loaders Track each load accurately Accurately count all pallets Maintain pace of pallet configuration Ensure that inline adjustments are made and used for all pallets Identify priorities and coordinate resources Assess and enhance the skill set of pickers Recommend process improvements Coordinate picker and loader team Ensure stability of all loaded pallets by proper use of load straps Embrace and promote a culture of “stack, wrap, strap” Ensure compliance to national gate policy and checking trucks in/out as necessary Other duties as Assigned Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $38,700 - $61,850 Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
