Summary Glaz-Tech is looking for a Glass Fabricator/Material Handler and Quality Control Tech at our Baton Rouge, LA location. We are seeking a responsible, adaptable and self-driven individual looking to grow with us in the manufacturing industry. The glass fabricator/material handler and quality control tech will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality. Responsibilities may include: + Use of specialized machinery and hand tools + Organization and production of various glass products + Assisting multiple departments as needed + Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications + Conduct quality control tests and inspections raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products + Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with accuracy in all tasks. + Must possess the ability to spot errors, maintain consistency and ensure high standards of quality in their work Requirements: + Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds + Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day + Must have reliable transportation to and from work + Ability to communicate in English + Willingness to learn new skills and grow as an employee + Successfully pass pre-employment Drug Screen Qualifications: + Must be 18 years or older + High School Diploma or equivalent + Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and equipment + Authorized to work in the US What is Glaz-Tech Industries?
