**Manufacturing Associate I/II/III** Manufacturing Chicago, IL, US Pay Rate Low: 25 | Pay Rate High: 40 + Added - 16/01/2025 Apply for Job **Manufacturing Associate I/II/III** **Our client, who develops and manufactures specialty biopharmaceutical products, is looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join their growing team!** **Location:** **Chicago, IL** **Pay:** **$25 - $40** **Responsibilities:** + Weighing and dispensing materials as part of the manufacturing process. + Operating filtration systems used in production. + Inoculating mammalian or cytokine cells as required. + Conducting fermentation and harvest processes in compliance with cGMP standards. + Managing chromatography columns and tangential flow filtration (TFF) operations. + Performing in-process testing, including pH, conductivity, spectrophotometer analysis, osmometry, and cell counts. + Preparing media and buffer solutions necessary for production. + Accurately completing Batch Records and other cGMP documentation in a timely manner. + Removing and disposing of soiled materials from manufacturing areas. + Ensuring manufacturing areas meet cleanroom standards and conditions. + Reporting any nonconformance or events occurring during the shift to the Supervisor. + Assisting with technology transfers from Process Development to cGMP Manufacturing. + Adhering to all safety, cGMP, and company policies, practices, and procedures. + Performing additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Associate degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred. + 1-2 years of experience in the biologics industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. + Ability to comprehend technical information, procedures, batch records, and related documents. **Skills:** + Ability to operate complex systems and equipment in alignment with current GMPs, SOPs, and safety standards with minimal supervision. + Understanding of GMP and safety requirements. + Familiarity with biotechnology operations, including aseptic filtration systems, fermentation processes, inoculation processes, chromatography columns, and TFF steps.
