Manufacturing Chemist

Description

Responsible for the implementation of assigned production procedures working within defined production schedules.Responsible for performing all work within company and cGMP regulatory compliance.Maintaining a safe work environment and following all site safety procedure.Participation as a member of a safety team

 

Key Responsibilities:

Execute defined lab start up and shutdown procedures.Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with defined procedures.Assuring basic lab supply needs are met.Qualify and maintain Qualification on all assigned manufacturing processes which may include:Synthesis and/or purification equipment cleaning and setup.General solution preparation and column packingLab cleaning, changeover, start up and shut down proceduresRoutine equipment monitoring, chart recorders and spectrophotometers.Monitor automated systems and record operational data.Perform general routine operations including:pH measurementsUV determinationsFraction collection

 

Top Skills Details

Must have knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes which may include chemical synthesis, chromatography, ultrafiltration, freeze drying, and aseptic technique.Minimum of 2 years of GMP experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
