We are seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Finance Controlling Lead to oversee financial planning, analysis, controlling and reporting for our manufacturing operations for our various locations in Europe. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, optimizing cost structures, and supporting key business decisions. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in finance controlling, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Your Impact
Manage and oversee financial Budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for manufacturing operations.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability. Analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Monitor variances between actual and budgeted costs and investigate discrepancies. Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for manufacturing departments.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align financial plans with operational goals. Work closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Partner with senior management to align financial objectives with strategic priorities.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus).
At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector, with direct exposure to manufacturing finance.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders. Additional languages are a plus. Ability to communicate with stakeholders in offshore locations.
Leadership: Demonstrated team leading experience. Prior team building experience is nice to have.
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
