Reports Directly to: Production Leader
Purpose: The Manufacturing Coordinator supports Manufacturing and Operations Function with coordinating activities for production materials, quality, health, safety and environment. Assists the departments with administration assignments, while providing general logistics support to the manufacturing floor.
Direct Reports: None.
Specific Accountabilities
+ Assists management with coordinating activities for production materials, quality, health, safety and environment.
+ Provides general logistics support to the manufacturing floor such as material requisitions, sub-assembly paperwork closure and material relocation.
+ Maintains the databases, reports and records that are necessary to manufacturing operations activities.
+ Schedules activities in the manufacturing process, to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
+ Communicates effectively through phone, email and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner.
+ Provides excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquires and routine problem solving.
+ Other responsibilities as assigned.
+ Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
Technical Requirements
+ Minimum of high school diploma/equivalent or combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. Vocational training/certification or associate’s degree is preferred.
+ Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Knowledge and experience in manufacturing and operations processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team.
+ Excellent internal and external customer service skills
+ Strong attention to detail, good organization skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
+ Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options.
+ Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
