**Job Description Summary** The Smart Factory program requires a professional who can translate manufacturing data into actionable insights for shop floor operators and supervisors. This role focuses on integrating operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) data, driving standardisation to enable advanced manufacturing analytics. This position is part of BD Technology Global Services and reports to the IT Smart Factory Lead Business Partner. Become a **maker of possible** with us! **Responsibilities:** + Drive the evolution of the Manufacturing data platform strategy, design and functionalities, to enable various business specific use cases + Translate business needs into functional data designs. + Oversee the implementation of data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication. + Apply functional analysis to address quantitative challenges. + Ensure seamless integration of OT and IT data across shop floors. + Measure and report the impact of initiatives using defined performance metrics. + Find opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. + Foster collaboration across teams to enable data-driven decision-making. **About You:** + A degree in technology, engineering, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. + Experience in manufacturing and operations, with an understanding of the Operational Technology data landscape on the shop floor. + Knowledge of data architecture, harmonisation, and modelling. + Experience with edge and cloud computing technologies for Operational Technology and Information Technology data collection. + Understanding of UX design principles. + Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Python, and machine learning methods. + Ability to drive smart transformation initiatives across multiple sites in a global organisation, ideally using Industry 4.0 enablers. + Proficient in English. **Click on apply and send your English CV if this sounds like you!** Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
