Job Description

  

Teledyne Cable Solutions (TCS) is comprised of Storm Cable and VariSystems, an integrated alliance supplying engineered solutions to challenging cable situations. TCS provides application-specific, multi-core cable, and ruggedized assemblies for a variety of industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides support to all departments in ERP system by maintaining document control, performing part transfers, and creation of IFS process instructions.Creates Shop Order Router for multiple products/sites, by reviewing drawings and tooling.Reviews work orders against router steps and coordinates needed changes with other document control team members.Evaluates effectiveness of routers by communicating with operators and adjusting documentation as required.Uploads and maintains SOP documentation control.Generates reports as needed.Assist in maintaining tooling databases.Makes minor changes to drawings as required.Accepts other manufacturing department assignments, generally working on lean initiative projects.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years directly related experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Project, Outlook, Excel, etc.)Prior experience using a MRP or ERP system is preferred.Strong attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal & written communication skillsAbility to read/interpret documents such as drawings, work instructions, process sheets, shop orders, etc.Due to the nature of the work performed at our facility all applicants must hold US PERSON STATUS.ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies (for items listed on the US Munitions List) may only be shared with US Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is received or a special exemption is used.A "U.S. person" can be:A U.S. citizen;A permanent resident who does not work for a foreign company, a foreign government, or a foreign governmental agency/organization;A political asylee;A part of the U.S. government, orA corporation, business, organization, or group that is incorporated in the United States under U.S. law.A foreign person is any person who is not a lawful permanent resident of the US and includes foreign governments and organizations.
