Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Manufacturing Engineer 1, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Engineer 2 (level 2) reports to Technical Leadership and provides manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Provides leadership and direction in manufacturing for programming, processing, tooling or working with development engineering on new hardware.

What You Will Be Doing 

Provides technical solutionsCreates cell layouts and process improvement initiativesUses basic Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processesSupports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions and develops/trains other members in the manufacturing processCreates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentationSupports updates to management on operations statusManufacturing Engineering Specific Functions - Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or basic design and implementation of Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming

What We Are Looking For 

US – bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences, Technical/Science or international equivalent required.Greater than 2 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree required.​Effective written/verbal communication skills, basic presentation skillsGeneral troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; General understanding of Root Cause AnalysisGeneral understanding and ability to read electrical and/or mechanical machine drawings.Certifications i.e. AWS, SME, CWE, CWI, etc. preferred.
