Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical support to various engineering teams and collaborate with Quality, Tooling Engineers, Maintenance, Process Engineers, and Project Engineers. This role supports Production teams in achieving safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost objectives. You will be instrumental in implementing new products and working with commercial teams to bring new opportunities into the plant, ensuring these projects progress efficiently through theory, trial, phase, commercial, and manufacturing stages. Additionally, you will focus on throughput improvements, increasing output from assets, and enhancing capacity while identifying and eliminating cost inefficiencies.

ResponsibilitiesSolve problems on the factory floor and act as the primary technical resource to resolve production issues.Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis activities, and implement long-term solutions to prevent re-occurrence.Develop and implement process improvements.Generate and keep all manufacturing documentation up-to-date, including BOMs, specification changes, ECOs, reports, print revisions, fixturing, and protocols.Lead formal root cause investigations and implement corrective actions, confirming effectiveness through statistical analysis.Interface with suppliers for incoming components, outsourced services, and new process equipment.Write and revise protocols and reports for validation, both internally and externally.Complete process FMEAs as required and implement and review process controls.Contribute as a member of the Material Review Board.Essential SkillsManufacturing engineering expertiseContinuous improvement practicesExperience in blow moldingLean manufacturing knowledgeSix Sigma proficiencyCAD experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.S.)Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in plastics injection moldingExcellent problem-solving skillsHigh level of accountabilityAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsWork Environment

The work environment includes both office and factory settings where the employee will be required to sit and stand for moderate periods. Regular use of hand tools, micrometers, and microscopes is necessary. The role occasionally involves stooping and lifting up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $52.88/hr.
