Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Phillips & Temro Industries, you will provide essential engineering support for new product startups, continuous improvement initiatives, and cost reduction efforts. Your role will involve championing projects aimed at enhancing throughput, yield, and ergonomics while minimizing operating expenses through automation and waste reduction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in new product launches, and lead problem-solving efforts.
Key responsibilities include identifying and submitting capital project documentation, overseeing the purchasing and installation of machinery, and ensuring adherence to safety and ergonomics standards. You will generate and monitor critical process parameters and support ISO14001 environmental efforts throughout engineering processes.
Qualifications:
• BS in an engineering field
• 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, preferably in the automotive sector
• Familiarity with TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, or Lean Systems
Skills:
• Must-Haves: Manufacturing engineering, process improvement, lean manufacturing
• Nice-to-Haves: General manufacturing experience, cost reduction strategies
Work Environment:
Join a fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with 6-10 engineers daily, interfacing with maintenance, production, and engineering personnel in a Tier 1 automotive supplier setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
