Manufacturing Engineer

If you are a Manufacturing Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Shakopee or Chanhassen, MN location, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the development of technologies, products and/or processes to meet quality, cost, schedule, safety, and performance goals.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Apply technical expertise in the production of products.  Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment. Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and cost. Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs. Solve production problems and improve process capabilities. Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews. Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers. Participate in the administration of technical procedures. Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations. Support capacity model and lean initiatives. May participate in lean six sigma improvement teams. May interact with teammates in numerous global locations May be required to travel to other Emerson factories in the United States China, Romania, and Mexico   Who You Are: You balance planning with actions. You research initiatives and try new approaches.  You seek ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete re-engineering. You are open to change and continue to learn and experience new opportunities. You make new connections and build relationships in other areas and teams.  You take time to ask questions and define the problem and make learning a priority and a goal.    For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelors in engineering Zero (0) years of applicable experience Legal authorization to work in the United States
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing is preferred.
