We are EATON! **What you’ll do:** **Job Requirements:** + Contributing to Eaton Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) deployment (visual controls, process standardization, leader standard work, Gemba walks, manning strategy, daily accountability, process checks and CI for everyone) + Developing local ELSS/CI Tool Champions and Experts by providing training and consulting support + Implementing identified Eaton best practices and drive integration of best practices internally + Being responsible for attainment of ELSS Assessment and ELSS Cost Savings objectives + Supporting annual self-assessments are completed at each plant to include but not limited to ELSS, OpA, as well as formal assessments when required. These assessments must identify gaps driving maturity levels, annual action plans to improve and include a process to monitor progress. + Coordinating and mentor the VSMs between the plants to identify best strategies to reduce the non-value-added activities between the plants + Analyzing and developing reports related to operational and ELSS functional requirements. When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. + Supporting the achievement of Plant Cost Out goals as established by Profit Plan. + Utilizing change management techniques such as ADKAR to effectively drive and sustain process improvements + Participating in the process of obtaining certification and recertification of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, etc. + Monitoring performance and CI plans for each plant, participate in regular reviews and recommend opportunities for improvement as necessary + Ensuring that Eaton values and philosophies are integrated into the culture. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant departments + Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence + Excellent command of English both spoken and written + Knowledge in transformer manufacturing is a plus **Skills:** + Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques – i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, etc. + Understanding of problem solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Gage R & R, control charts, Pareto charts, etc. + Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts and tools as they relate to minimizing process / product variability – i.e. regression analysis, hypothesis testing, etc. **What We Offer You** + Competitive compensation and benefits package + Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team + We make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible + We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University. + We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologies. + We make your wellbeing matter – We put your health and safety first.
