Manufacturing Engineer
This role will be working on projects to install new equipment or modify current equipment. Additionally, this role coordinates and/or oversees tasks related to equipment selection, early design, late design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning/ramp-up assistance.ResponsibilitiesSupport equipment commissioning, validation, and drive the hand over process to operations.Perform feasibility analyses for functional requirements; assess solutions based on cost, timelines, quality, risks, and functionality. Support manufacturing line design, RFPs, vendor engagement and equipment integration to the factoryHandle change requests in accordance with the procedures in place.Follow the established procedures (risk analyses, FMEA, design reviews, quality planning, handling of non-conformities, etc.) and the quality system. Travel as requiredPerform other duties as needed.RequirementsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Education with the following specialties preferred: Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial. 3 years of experience in an engineering role working with manufacturing equipment and processesExperience purchasing and setting up manufacturing equipmentExperience writing Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions and other manufacturing documentationExperience working with design engineers and providing DFM feedbackKnowledgeable in manufacturing skills and concepts (cycle time analysis, quality control, equipment efficiency, equipment selection, return on investment).CAD knowledge and working experience in 3D and drawing creation/modification.
