In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. What you will do:
Drive multiple projects across the factory to support future growth and expansion for electric motors Owns commissioning Manages MOC (management of change) of new equipment into production by creating factory layouts, process maps, capability studies, equipment work instructions, run offs, and conducts trainingAssumes responsibility for plant and site layout during re-arrangementsDrives engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training and project reviews including: PFMEA, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Dynamic Control Plans (DCP), Project Management and Simultaneous EngineeringDevelops and implements recommendations for Improving Efficiency and Profitability of PlantEnsures all equipment meets OSHA compliant safety regulationsManages all new product introductions with disciplined up-front manufacturing involvement and program management deliverable executionCoordinates activities of sub-contractors and service repsManages, develops, and improves all manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.Manages and Supports assembly process and manufacturing execution systems (AES)What you will bring:
Bachelors in engineeringPreferred experience with project management or project launch3+ years related experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Poke-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)Ability to quickly determine root cause utilizing 8D's and 5 why toolsAbility to quickly assess manufacturing issues related to design and tolerancingKnowledge of basic design and manufacturing datum development and its effect in manufacturing processesLow/High Voltage knowledge and troubleshootingPLC programming is a plusCompensation:
Base Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000 annually
