Position Summary

As a Product Engineer, you will be the primary customer contact for New Product Launch (NPL) activities. You will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling to ensure products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

•Lead manufacturing activities of assigned products through prototype, pilot, and production phases.

•Oversee the implementation of customer documentation changes and internal change orders.

•Actively participate in new customer development and business growth initiatives.

•Analyze line return information to identify and drive corrective actions for manufacturing process issues.

•Perform product-level Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as required.

•Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.

•Review engineering design drawings and DFX reports prior to production release for manufacturability.

•Evaluate and qualify new manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.

•Lead internal and external corrective action plans.

•Comply with all company policies and procedures.

•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Effective interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.

•Strong organization and prioritization skills with high attention to detail.

•Ability to work with diverse groups and demonstrate professionalism.

•Discretion and independent judgment in decision-making.

•Understanding of continuous improvement tools.

•Strong customer service and client focus.

•Proficient in productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and WebEx.

•0-3+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.

•4-year Engineering or Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.

•Ability to work individually or in teams, supporting a 24/7 global business operation as required.

•Familiarity with metrics and continuous improvement tools (e.g., DPMO, FPY, DPM, Six Sigma, FMEA, etc.).
