Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Work closely with production to perform problem solving and root cause analysis, lead continuous improvement projects using lean manufacturing, lead cost reductions, and yield improvements. Utilize project management tools, improve equipment capability and reliability, and identify opportunities for error proofing and implement solutions.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements.Improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.Work closely with production to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.Lead continuous improvement projects using lean manufacturing principles.Lead cost reductions and yield improvements.Utilize project management tools effectively.Improve equipment capability and reliability.Identify opportunities for error proofing and implement solutions.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Experience with problem solving and root cause analysis.Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.Strong project management skills.Strong knowledge of quality systems, SPC, and process capability.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with equipment procurement.Work Environment

80% of the day will be spent on the floor doing maintenance and troubleshooting when supporting production, and 50-60% of the day will be spent on the floor when supporting a project.
