This Manufacturing Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic global team dedicated to driving continuous improvement projects across all Resource Industries Operations and Products (RIOP) division. This division consists of over 12 product lines, 8 global manufacturing facilities, and more than 8,000 employees. The products, services, and solutions provided by RIOP support customers primarily in the construction, surface and underground mining, and quarry and aggregates industries.
You'll have the chance to work hands-on with various facilities, providing crucial support and guidance on production, cost management, quality assurance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
One of the most thrilling aspects of this role is the significant travel involved, allowing you to lead and support the execution of RIW (Rapid Improvement Workshop) activities at different RIOP locations. This not only broadens your professional experience but also offers a unique chance to see the direct impact of your work on a global scale. When not traveling, you'll focus on continuous improvement projects at your home facility, ensuring that your expertise contributes to both local and global advancements.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Identifying, replicating and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
+ Providing hands-on expertise to RIOP facilities in the implementation of continuous improvement projects. This position requires managing the People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) for the value streams.
**What Skills You Have:**
+ **Manufacturing Safety:** Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
+ **Problem Management Process - MFG:** Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
+ **Decision Making and Critical Thinking** : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
+ **Judgment and Decision Making** : Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
+ **Lean Manufacturing** : Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
+ **Manufacturing Equipment** : Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
+ **Manufacturing Processes** : Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
+ **Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies:** Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
**What Will Set You Apart:**
+ **Educational Background** : Engineering Degree or equivalent experience desired. Degree or certification in automation/automation integration, ergonomics, crane/lifting practices, industrial safety also considered.
+ **Language Proficiency** : Good proficiency in English is required.
