Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our associate team. The mission is to advance our ability to improve supply chain stability with a single and efficient mindset, contributing to maintaining strong delivery characteristics in support of smooth production operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Under limited supervision, you will lead supplier crisis mitigation and countermeasures for OEM suppliers and manage supplier performance. You will participate in broad scope projects and handle complex supplier situations.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with suppliers and other business units to achieve supplier stability.Minimize supplier touchpoints through optimizing activity.Clearly summarize each supplier situation, including issue, impact, root cause, and countermeasures.Initiate and support situation appraisal and analysis of supplier crises on specific parts or assembly processes (e.g., tooling, equipment specification, part drawing specification, evaluation, OEE, volume assessment, SAP development).Coordinate and support implementation of immediate corrective action plans (short-term and long-term) at critical suppliers.Support communication, interaction, and summary reviews with suppliers and management.Support critical proactive projects (e.g., capacity management, minimum process requirements, part non-conformances, shutdown).Complete reporting and onsite visit activities for root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation to solve complex problems with speed and effectiveness.Engage in continuous improvement through cycling Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) for areas of responsibility (capacity and/or special projects) to ensure associate success.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent related experience.2-8 years of relevant engineering experience.Manufacturing process knowledge (e.g., stamping, welding, assembly, material flow, electronics, casting, machining).Strong supplier experience.Good communication skills.Ability to influence team, self-motivated and disciplined.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience within a manufacturing facility.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within the US, with potential travel to Europe (passport required).Experience in machining, welding, fabrication, stamping, and forming.Experience with implementing solutions and corrective action plans at critical suppliers.Work Environment

The role requires a strong sense of urgency and flexibility to respond to critical issues and unplanned risk events. You must be able to travel at a moment's notice to confirm supplier situations on-site (50% of the time). The work environment includes an open office setting, supplier operations, and virtual business conduct. You may need to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts on a limited basis to support on-site supplier crises. Additionally, the role may require working up to 5-15 additional hours each week as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00

Health, Dental, Vision, 401K 8%. Sixteen national holidays, Ten PTO days, Six sick days, Four personal days.
