Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to providing necessary maintenance activities to achieve the required level of quality, costs and production capacity for active products. Each day, you will support active product through production. Over time you will contribute to new product developments including assembling prototypes and testing new designs.Reporting to Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this position will be based in Napier, New Zealand.The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Power Protection business in Napier. Main stakeholders are R&D and Agile teams for technical input and to SCM (Supply Chain Management) and Production teams.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDeveloping and managing engineering changes in active products•\tMonitoring product/assembly cost and developing projects for cost savings•\tManaging technical documents for production (3D, Schematics, BOM, Assembly Procedure)•\tEstablishing project specification for production•\tConverting R&D developments into products for market and readying these for mass production•\tSupporting for production lines. Involving problem solving analysis and investigating together with Quality/Process teams•\tMaintaining assembly and packaging instructions
Qualifications for the role\tYou enjoy working with 3D modelling tools like Solidworks, Electrical schematic capture tools like Autocad, and ERP systems like SAP \tYou have You have more than 2 years of experience in managing multiple (change) projects\tDegree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).\tYou are at ease communicating in English
