Summary:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining single piece flow lines to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes using lean principles.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen events, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Experience designing and implementing single piece flow lines in production environments
Proficiency in data analysis to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, throughput, and quality
Preferred Skills:Experience with standardized work development and visual management systems
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and waste elimination strategies
Knowledge of equipment reliability programs and process optimization techniques
Strong ability to collaborate across departments, including quality, maintenance, and engineering
Previous experience conducting audits and sustainability assessments
Job Responsibilities:Design and implement single piece flow lines to meet production requirements, reduce lead times, and improve quality
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify waste and improvement opportunities
Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate non-value-added activities and reduce variability in production processes
Develop and implement standardized work instructions and visual management systems
Collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders to communicate changes and improvements
Provide training and coaching to production staff on new processes and lean principles
Monitor performance data to ensure the effectiveness of single piece flow lines and identify further improvement opportunities
Conduct regular audits to ensure sustainability of lean initiatives and process improvements
Participate in Kaizen events and workshops to drive continuous improvement efforts
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure delivery of high-quality materials and services
Scope and Expectations:Work closely with production teams to implement and sustain process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and support of lean initiatives
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in lean manufacturing and process optimization
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in lean methodologies
Pay: 40-50

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
