Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This role involves overseeing the full life cycle manufacturing process, taking designs from the R&D team through to the final manufactured product.

ResponsibilitiesManage the full life cycle manufacturing process from design to final product.Work with engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and other technical documents.Utilize GD&T and tooling in the manufacturing process.Develop and use project tracking tools like Excel or Microsoft Project.Communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.Support mechanical design activities related to manufacturing.Implement continuous and process improvements.Essential SkillsExperience with full life cycle manufacturing processes.Proficiency with engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.Knowledge of GD&T and tooling.Excellent organizational skills and experience with project tracking tools.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in SolidWorks.

***Must be a eligible to obtain a government secret clearance***

Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience coordinating build-to-print projects.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with BOMs of 250+ parts each.Work Environment

This role is based in Baltimore, MD within a production environment and is fully on-site. You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including a significant contract with the United States Navy to build unmanned sea vessels.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $48.00
