How will you make an impact?
In this role, you will develop manufacturing processes needed to enhance the manufacturing capability of customized cold plate designs used for high-powered computing and data center integration. You will address various cold plate manufacturing issues based on customer feedback and incorporate cold plate manufacturing into the system to support the development of automation and enhanced production efficiency. Work closely and lead communication efforts with the design engineering team to help ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacturing.

Plan and establish technical standards for cold plate manufacturing.Develop and improve manufacturing processes specific to product needs.Evaluate, test, and implement new cold plate manufacturing.Evaluate, develop, and improve the fixtures which are applied in production and measuring equipment.Support the analysis, development, and improvement of standard measurements and processes.Planning, development, and implementation of manufacturing systems.Support new testing and establish related tools and systems.Various CAD/CAM projects planning and implementation.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedHow will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering subjectExperience:
5 years of related engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Expertise with mechanical inspection toolsFamiliarity with machining and brazing as well as processes for effective product Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Creation of shop-floor documentation and work instructionsDrafting experience, knowledge of GD&TFamiliarity with CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso preferred) and dimensional inspection methodsCold plate design process experience a plusKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design, etc.)Automation and PLC experienceStrong analytical abilityStrong communication skillsProficiency in the use of CAD software such as SolidWorksProficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.What can we offer you?
