Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a tenured manufacturing engineer with assembly experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning their line, working on quality improvements, and collaborating with various departments to find and implement solutions.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and update project specifications and engineering documents.Assist in designing and developing technical products and systems.Manage projects to improve equipment, systems, and processes.Participate in product design meetings and ensure designs meet specifications.Ensure designs support efficient manufacturing.Work with vendors to find and approve components.Maintain up-to-date design documents.Identify common design elements to standardize manufacturing.Generate and file design analysis reports.Respond to design issues and warranty problems.Assist peers with workloads as needed.Promote a safe work environment and maintain a clean workspace.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.6+ years in engineering, with a focus on assembly and fabrication.Experience with heavy equipment, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and lean practices.Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Inventor, and other design software.Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Ability to work well in teams and adapt to changing situations.Additional Skills & QualificationsLEAN certificate is a plus.Experience in assembly line and heavy equipment.Experience in automotive assembly and root cause analysis.Work Environment

The work environment is 50/50, split between the manufacturing floor and the office. The role offers billable holidays and PTO. The position is a 12-month contract to hire and can be direct placement if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr.
