Location : Rogers Job Information The Manufacturing Engineer will work with numerous departments; including but not limited to, operations; engineering; and/or purchasing departments utilizing various engineering methodologies and tools, in manufacturing, to help optimize cost and quality. Role & Responsibility Process Analysis + Analysis of time and motion, methods, estimating, process engineering, and plant layout for assigned areas to ensure balanced methods and available capacity to meet customer demand. + Implement factory manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, and materials in terms of their associated cost, time, ergonomics, quality, and quantity factors. + Assist in recommended changes, collect information for capital justifications, and participate in the design of new manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, and materials to contribute to the assigned area’s short- and long-term economic objectives. + Write and distribute manufacturing changes and associated operating work instructions to all affected personnel on the shop floor and train operators on the product and process changes. + Tracks submitted requisitions and purchase orders. + Update routings and manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) with direction from the manager. Problem-Solving + Produce, publish, and vault complete documentation for all tools. + Review engineering designs to estimate tool and manufacturing costs. + Identify design changes to maximize economical manufacturing. + Prepare justifications and make recommendations for the procurement of new machines and equipment. + Assist and train employees in the proper installation of the equipment. Job Requirement + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Engineering related field. + Product knowledge is a plus. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + 0-2+ years’ experience + Lean Manufacturing experience preferred with Green Belt or Black Belt training or certification. + Less than 10% travel As a part of the Doosan Group, which employs more than 43,000 people in 38 countries worldwide, the company offers its customers products and solutions to help build stronger businesses and communities.
