Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and process engineering, with an emphasis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic controls. This role requires hands-on problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with production teams to achieve company goals.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment and machines through hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic controls.Ensure efficient operation and proper functioning of the manufacturing processes under your control.Maintain and improve all production processes, tools, and equipment in the assigned area.Identify and develop improvements to the processes in support of company goals.Understand and report the daily status of production and quality processes, initiating improvements as required.Lead production teams to meet production requirements and achieve established company goals.Develop and implement continuous improvement programs.Essential SkillsManufacturing engineeringProcess engineeringManufacturing processesMechanical engineering.Experience in the automotive industryAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum Associate's Degree in Engineering or significant work experience.Capable of multi-tasking.Logical hands-on problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in computer skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Ability to train operators.One step onsite interview.Work Environment

Work will be done onsite at our facility in Virginia Beach. This engineer is expected to be on the shop floor and very hands-on, working closely with production teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
