**Description:** You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Technical Operations team\. Our team is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, ensuring producibility, and coordinating between Technical Operations and Production operations to deliver high\-quality products\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Manufacturing Engineer collaborating with cross\-functional teams to resolve producibility issues\. You will work closely with operators, design teams, and other stakeholders to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure seamless production\.
Your responsibilities will include:
\-Improving manufacturing processes and identifying areas for enhancement
\-Conducting root cause and corrective action analysis to resolve issues
\-Working with operators to develop accurate and adequate work instructions
\-Identifying and justifying new equipment needs to improve processes or capabilities
\-Reviewing new designs for manufacturability and providing feedback

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
\-Bachelors Degree in an engineering field
\-At least 1\+ year prior experience in a manufacturing role directly supporting the shop floor
\-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T
\-Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes
\-Experience improving manufacturing processes
\-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
**Desired Skills:**
\-Manufacturing Engineering Technology \(MET\) Degree
\-Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action Investigations
\-SAP / Windchill / Apriso experience
\-Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work to deadlines
\-Knowledge of NC machines, cutters / fixturing
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
