Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer
**A Snapshot of Your Day** Perform duties related to proving technical support and general guidance to support shop floor and assist with coordination for manufacturing parts. This ME/ CNC Programmer will generate CNC programs offline for Turning Boring & milling machines. Also critical to this role is process engineering, cutting tool design, and shop floor support. You will develop machining strategies related to produce part in the most effective process. And create Process models and necessary fixturing for programming. While creating and modifying offline CNC programs **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Provide technicalleadership and expert execution of Manufacturing Safety, Quality,Processes, Technology, and Execution of Product Workscope while ensuringmanufacturing processes are clearly defined and communicated frommanufacturing engineering to the shop floor via technical instructions,MIs, job briefings etc. + Analyzes shopfloor inputs (data & findings), design requirements, and manufacturingcapability to formulate robust manufacturing engineering recommendations. + Leads aManufacturing team for successful execution of a product through the shop(both preparedness and in process support of shop floor execution) + Develops andimplements manufacturing processes and tooling specific to the product,applying sound engineering judgment and methodologies. + Ensures safety andquality requirements are met during component manufacturing to internaland customer requirements + ManufacturingEngineering leader in the preparation of detailed manufacturinginformation (Routing, Special Tooling Costs, Risks, etc.) for new product,processes, and technology into manufacturing and process ServiceNotifications (SNs), Quality Notifications (QNs) in SAP. Makerecommendations to Design Engineering **What You Bring** + Technical Degree required preferably in Manufacturing,Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering – equivalent experiencemay be considered in lieu of a degree. + 3+ years related work experience in engineering ormanufacturing is required. Those with more experience may be consideredfor a higher level. + MRP experience is preferred – SAP experience isemphasized. + Ability to apply continuous improvement methods toincrease manufacturing quality, efficiency, reliability, and costeffectiveness + Highly motivated to adapt to and/or improve dynamic andcomplex manufacturing processes + Effective communication skills both oral and writtenwill be highly valued within the Charlotte manufacturing network (e.g.,design engineer, project management, purchasing, MF CoCs, tendering,business administration, sales). **About the Team** **Gas Services** Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
