Environmental Conditions

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Option 2 - Mon-Fri from 2 pm - 10.15 pm


Position Summary:

The position is based in the Manufacturing & Packaging area and requires the individual to work in accordance with documented procedures / standards in order to complete duties within the allotted timescales and to customer specification. This is a fast-paced position that constantly requires a high volume of productivity and accuracy. The industry sector demands strict quality, product integrity and high levels of accuracy.

Manufacturing Engineer I provides practical expertise and support across the packaging value stream for the introduction of new processes and for improvements to existing processes. In this role you are actively trained to run and complete the jobs and maintain the team and run rates output throughout the day.

What will I do:

Address and raise EHS and Quality risks and incidentsDemonstrate 4i ValuesIdentify and support process improvements using the PPI frameworkSupport coaching, development and training across the departmentBuild and update procedures to support process implementation and improvementComplete and support investigation of deviations and the identification of effective CAPAsAssist in introducing new processesSupport in regulatory and client auditsSubject Matter Expert for all commercial packaging activitiesComplete packaging activities according to procedures and instructionsLead teams focused on packaging job completionOperations review of completed Batch RecordsTeam Leader DelegateUndertake other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by your Line Manager

What will I need:

Experience of working within GMP and operational environmentsUnderstanding of Continuous Improvement and the PPI 8 step methods and toolsAbility to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and inspectorsProficient in personal computer skills; specifically, Microsoft Office and OutlookAbility to build good working relationshipsA high degree of accuracy and attention to detailSupervisory experienceAn understanding of computerized ERP systems such as SAP, or GPMExcellent working knowledge of processes and documentation
