Manufacturing Engineer I **Location:** Tulsa, OK, United States, 74115 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_** This position will focus on the establishment and improve of processes and procedures for the brazed aluminum heat exchangers (BAHX) line with focus on industrial controls and plant infrastructure. Candidate will provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support for BAHX manufacturing and provide technical support for production electrical systems and instrumentation.The candidate must have a strong understanding of electrical systems and controls. The candidate must be detail orientated, mechanically inclined, and effective leading and teaching others. Ability to troubleshoot HMI systems, program, edit, update, and trouble shoot PLCs, with a focus on Allen Bradley systems highly desired. **_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_** + Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations on processes, methods, hardware, and designs to improve the quality and profitability of BAHX. + Work with equipment vendors to assess advancements in technologies that will offer benefits in the manufacture of BAHX. Specify, procure, and implement new equipment needed to support the growth and improvement of BAHX manufacturing. + Analyze product defects occurring during manufacturing and generate and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. + Monitor and improve BAHX component quality and performance. + Develop training instructions and train others, usually production workers, in specific manufacturing processes. + Work with raw material suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and address quality issues. + Provide BAHX product support to the sales and design departments and assist with customer support. + Use software such as MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project to perform engineering, financial, scheduling, and report writing tasks. **_Your Education Should Be…_** + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline required + Controls and automation experience is advantageous **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and sit. Moderate to loud noise level in the work environment **_Your Professional Experience Should Be…_** + Proven experience in automation and controls engineering + Familiar with Python, AutoCAD, RSLogics, SCADA, HMI designand AB programming + Proficient using RS Linx + Strong expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance + Strong communication and client interfacing skills + Ability to work independently and within a team + Ability to apply scientific and mathematical operations to such tasks as statistical analysis, root cause investigation, developing hypothesis, and evaluating options. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing related technical documents. + Knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing practices, design software, databases, programmable logic controllers, and project management techniques + Collaborate with cross-functional teams todrive continuous improvements + Develop and maintain process control documentation, ensuring seamless workflow and compliance with industry standards + Manage and troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from 12VDC to 122KV AC + Provide technical training and support to team members to ensure proper process control and system operation **_Chart is an equal opportunity employer..._**
