Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Our summer internships provide ambitious undergraduates the chance to gain real world experience in their field of study. We provide challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. This internship takes place onsite at Stevens Point, WI location.

Primary Responsibilities: A manufacturing engineer intern will work with established manufacturing engineers to:

Develop creative solutions, recommend process improvements, and enhance production methods. Monitor and modify equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Investigate problems or failures with processes; develop and implement corrective actions. Review and verify accuracy of existing procedures and bills of material. Develop and implement operating instructions and documentation. Conduct testing and evaluation of products and processes. Identify and implement new testing methods and technology. Design studies for process and product improvements. Evaluate and integrate new manufacturing/engineering technology to increase production efficiency and decrease costs. Seek out new methods for improving process efficiency. 

Minimum Qualifications

Current sophomore/2nd year (rising junior) enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fieldExperience with 2D AutoCAD 3D SolidWorks softwareExperience in Microsoft Office programs Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
