This position will be in charge of define and develop the manufacturing and industrialization process for assembly. Specify machines and equipment necessary to meet requirements for new products, components and market volumes. Seek constant process improvement to ensure cost competitiveness and efficiency, along with the development of new manufacturing technologies. Calculate manufacturing capacity and restrictions, as well as adapting them to new market needs. Look at safety standards and improvements constantly.
Knowledge about automation and robotics will be required to execute the project roadmap, also helping the company in the digitalization journey - with Andon, MES, torq and OEE controls, etc.

Your Impact:

Cycle time; Process capacity and capability; Process layout including process and material flow optimizations; Process documentation according ISO9001;
Process development for new items according new product development;  Execute budget defined for process according plan; Support in operation issues (quality, safety, delivery and efficiency); offline programming to improve efficiency or new developments; Develop machinery projects to ensure assembly process (traction system, andon boards, automation cells, torq tools, etc).

Your Experience and Qualifications:

Completed Graduation in engineering or robotics, preference for mechanical or automation. CREA active. Strong knowledge in assembly equipment’s and automation. Knowledge and experience in assembly, lean manufacturing and process engineering tools (Std work, control plan, pfmea, design cell, line balancing, equipment commissioning and specification). Solid experience in assembly or automation. PLC, robotic programming and equipment integration is relevant for the role and tasks. Minimum experience in project management tools.Light project management experience. Advanced English in communication and writing is mandatory.
