Job Summary:The engineering position is responsible for providing technical production support, leading projects, and developing processes for the manufacture of HVAC centrifugal chillers. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with well-developed problem solving and interpersonal skills, including a strong ability to lead teams, manage process improvements, and influence others in a cross-functional environment. This position is based out of our campus in La Crosse, WI and requires daily onsite presence and is considered safety-sensitive.

This position has been designated as full-time onsite at our La Crosse, WI facility and is considered safety-sensitive.
Responsibilities:Lead the development of manufacturing concepts to implementation of final process design. Verify project benefits meet or exceed business case expectations. Document the designs and manage changes within existing quality control systems.Process ownership with responsibility for the assembly and fabrication processes and systems. Process systems can include semi and fully automated systems in welding, pressure testing, and controls verification.Conduct process qualification activities to ensure delivered processes meet required specifications. Create required documentation for new processes and provide or support training of production associates.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional individuals and teams to build consensus and achieve best practice outcomes. Understanding of lean principles and requirements for successful design of work cells.Utilize a standardized problem-solving approach to troubleshoot product and process failures and develop root cause solutions to prevent reoccurrences through the final manufacturing validation process.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred, relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Previous experience with automation equipment and toolingStrong technical knowledge of welding and joining control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environmentPrior manufacturing engineering experience preferred.Project leadership and team building skills required.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma tools and methodology a plus.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization is required. Must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely.Possession of initiative to further develop technical skills, interpersonal skills and career path.Must have strong work ethic with a positive attitude, and be customer-focused, team-oriented and results-driven.
Base Pay Range: $80,000-$110,000/annually.
