Job Summary: 

Trane Technologies is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer III in La Crosse, WI. As the Manufacturing Engineer-Transformation, you will design and develop manufacturing processes and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost and schedule requirements within the manufacturing organization. 

 

Responsibilities:

Analyze current production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement strategies to optimize line flow and reduce bottlenecksLead 5S initiatives to create and maintain organized, clean, and efficient workspacesEnsure processes are standardized and that teams adhere to established standardsConduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvementsFacilitate Kaizen events and other Lean activities to drive continuous improvementTrain and mentor employees on Lean principles, 5S, and standard work practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain Lean initiativesDevelop and maintain documentation, including process maps, standard work instructions, and training materialsMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.Develop manufacturing planning, initial tooling requirements and costs, capability requirements, control plans, and assessments, which facilitate the definition and specification of the manufacturing processesDevelop and implement manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts and organization, and station controls, which optimize value added operations, operating costs, and product / process qualityIntegrate closely with various functional team members collaborating while enhancing design for manufacturability and ease of integration to manufacturing facility.Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree requiredPrevious manufacturing experience required Project Management and AutoCad experience is required Knowledge and demonstrated ability to implement Lean-Six Sigma processesAptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes

 

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $105,000-$130,000/annually
