As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.
Tasks to be Accomplished
All tasks are performed under the direction of Manufacturing Engineering staffSupport Manufacturing Engineering in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro optical manufacturing issues.Create and maintain documentation to support manufacturing changes, including assembly procedures, Work Instructions and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) authoring.Attend and provide responses to daily cell standup meetings.Maintain and improve manufacturing processes and procedures for WESCAM products. This includes control plans, tooling and test procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.Develop and maintain preventative maintenance documentation for manufacturing, assembly and/or testing equipment.Track projects actions and status.Time studiesAttend project meetings and record action items. Develop dashboards and data visualizations using SharePoint and PowerBI Management of small-scale projects.Skills Required
