Job Summary: 
As the Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Co-op, you will report directly to the Assistant Manager- Production Engineering and utilize your knowledge, excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills to assist in the Manufacturing Engineering Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for manufacturing engineering and wants to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment

Work Term Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week (Mon - Fri)
Work Term: Spring 2025 (May - Aug)
Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON

Responsibilities

Work on plant layout updates & preparation of work instructions. Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/ Manufacturing Engineers. Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives. Working alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering. Available for a 4 month placement for the Spring 2025 Co-op Work Term. Good understanding of VBA & Python Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works or AutoCAD. Some experience working with machines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
