Description:This position is for the Manufacturing Engineering Lead who will be responsible for the management of production Manufacturing Engineers supporting the IAMD programs in Ocala, FL.

What You Will Be Doing

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring resources are assigned appropriately to provide support to the production programs, supporting program and mission area corrective action boards and manufacturing initiatives, creating, and executing strategies that ensure continuous improvement of production processes resulting
in on-time and on-cost deliveries that meet program and customer.

The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing processes and procedures in production engineering.

This position requires contact with equivalent-level managers, industry peers and customer representatives, operational decisions, technical activities, schedules, contractual issues and general overall performance of the
organizational unit. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives and works as an active member of an Integrated Product Team, partnering with Production Operations, Engineering and Technology, PP&C as well as Program Management.

Focuses on directing the organization to meet critical schedules, resolve critical/complex technical or operational issues.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and professional experience in a manufacturing environment
- The candidate must be willing to work alternate shifts.
Desired Skills:
- Leadership experience.
- Experienced with SAP
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly,
industrial processes, technical writing, and
teaming.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts
and techniques, CREO, or equivalent CAD
software, tool design, electronic packaging
- Experience managing project or program budgets
- Experienced with Microsoft, Office (PowerPoint,
Access, Word, Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
