UnspecifiedCollins Aerospace is looking to hire Manufacturing Engineering & Systems Co-op student according to the following:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and create manufacturing plans within the Solumina MES software.Design, develop, and implement tooling including machining fixtures, assembly jigs and plating shop toolingDocument/release fabrication drawings per GD&T and industry standard drafting practicesCreate and test innovative applications using Power Apps to enhance business processes.Build and maintain SharePoint Sites, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow.Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and all relevant stakeholders to execute deliverables per project plan.Create Tableau reports to visualize and analyze data effectively.Work with Project Managers to create detailed road maps to guide capital projects from conception to final implementation.Provide Industrialization skill in Manufacturing areas to plan, design, set up, modify, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes.Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control and production record systems.Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Events, contributing to the enhancement of digital technologies.Create and update Standard Work documents to ensure clarity and consistency.Undertake any other duties assigned by management, showcasing flexibility and a proactive approach.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science EngineeringStrong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Techniques and applications.Proficiency in all MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work varying shifts as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with SharePoint, Power Apps and Tableau.Previous ERP experience welcomed (SAP preferred).Basic Knowledge of GD&T principles.Experience in CAD/CAM software such as CATIA, NX, AUTOCAD.Basic Knowledge in robotics, pneumatics, servo motors, motion controllers, PLC.Knowledge in developing, editing video files in various applications, Timerpro, Adobe Pro, iMovie, etc.16 months coop term preferred.Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
