Manufacturing Engineering Technician 2nd Shift
Job Description

Danfoss is currently in need of a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician in Easley, SC.  A Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Engineers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, equipment and tools in the SVS operations.  The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will complete maintenance of appropriate tooling and equipment and help with the creation and maintenance of work instructions and other Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Danfoss preferred qualifications for this role, we would like knowledge in PLC, Robot (Fanuc), Atlas torque tool experience along with some type of experience with Capital projects including installation.

Starting hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, with a 2nd shift premium.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Provide troubleshooting and related shop support using advanced quality tools. Train production personnel as required. Assist Manufacturing Engineers with new processes and maintaining current processes including poke-yoke fixtures and tools. Prepare and assist Manufacturing Engineer with process flow diagrams, time studies, process FMEAs, capability studies and control plans in support of new product releases, cost reductions and product modifications Specify and assist Manufacturing Engineer with developing the tooling and/or equipment necessary to manufacture a product with respect to the cost, quality, and ease of manufacturing objectives. The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

Associate degree in related fields or equivalent experience Two to three years proven experience in manufacturing processes. Proficient in ‘Microsoft Office’. Comprehensive understanding of assembly processes for SVS. Comprehensive understanding of ‘Test Stands’ and all associated ‘Testing Documentation’. Ability to understand and program manufacturing equipment May be needed before or after their normal shift hours Proven ability to communicate and lead a diverse group of individuals and teams, is a plus  Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow
