This role is responsible for troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment used in a production environment. **Type:** 12-month contract **Pay:** $33-$38/hr **Responsibilities** + Perform regular equipment and machinery inspections to identify faults and potential problems. + Carry out routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to maintain optimal performance and reliability. + Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery, determining the best solutions for repairs. + Replace or repair defective electronic components, including sensors, switches, circuit boards, and wiring, using hand tools, soldering tools, and diagnostic software. + Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to establish and implement maintenance procedures and standards. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks. + Follow safety guidelines and regulations while working with electronic equipment and machinery. **Requirements** + Strong understanding of electronics principles, including circuitry, digital and analog systems, and troubleshooting techniques + Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the use of basic hand tools + Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specification sheets + Minimum of three years of machine/electronics maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
